When you use our "Get Me a Free Quote" form, we may collect:
- Identity and contact data: first name, last name, phone number, and email address if provided.
- Business data: company name, industry, and business size.
- Identity verification documents: a copy of your passport or driving licence, where you choose to upload one.
- Financial documents: a copy of a recent bank statement, where you choose to upload one.
- Utility documents: a copy of a recent utilities bill, where you choose to upload one.
- Enquiry content: whatever you write in the message field.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically via standard web analytics and spam-prevention tools.

4. Who we share your data with
We share personal data with:
- Our CRM provider (HubSpot), which stores and processes enquiry data on our behalf so our team can follow up with you.
- Our website hosting and forms provider (Netlify), which processes form submissions, including any files you upload, as part of delivering them to us.
- Lenders, insurers, energy suppliers, or solar installation partners relevant to your specific enquiry — for example, if you apply for a business loan, we share the necessary application details (which may include ID and financial documents) with the lender assessing that application.
- Professional advisers and regulators where required by law, such as for anti-money-laundering compliance.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
International transfers
Some of our service providers (including HubSpot) may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as adopted for UK use.

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data involved — including restricted access to ID and financial documents, encrypted transmission of form submissions, and access controls on our CRM. Only staff who need the data to process your enquiry can access it.
